Name: Sarandiel
Age: 4 years old (passes as mentally 19)
Pronouns: They/Them

Sarandiel isn't a real person, technically, but luckily for their general wellbeing, not many people are aware of this technicality, and the ones that know are quite thoroughly on the little Spark's side. Unable to use currency or buy property as a non-user, Sarandiel wanders the public spaces of the Hollow, learning whatever they can. Their benign Datavore nature drives their endless curiosity, but they make an active effort to create a mutual trade, and ensure their questions are a little less suspicious than they could be if fully unprompted; with this need to consume knowledge driving them, Sarandiel learns things on behalf of others and passes on this information to earn items they can't buy on their own, and to sustain themselves, all while trying to perform these interactions as politely as possible.

In order to pass as as a real person enough to be remotely safe in the Hollow, the Spark has adopted the backstory crafted for them by a Wire with a passion for helping Sparks exist as he believes they deserve to, as well as winding elaborate lies, named Madison Caleb Lindquist. According to him, Sarandiel is staying at an orphanage, a child off the map with no family or legal identification, alienated by their peers. They managed to get online but didn't have the paperwork to arrange for more official account features like finances, so Madison Caleb lets them stick around his in-Hollow home sometimes, and occasionally buys them presents. More importantly, and less publicly, Madison Caleb vouches for Sarandiel's real-world existence whenever their nature comes into doubt, and he's the only reason something likely very bad hasn't happened to them yet.

Another trait that adds a layer of danger to Sarandiel's daily existence is their ability to manipulate a particular bit of code: the command that admins regularly use to immobilize avatars if misconduct occurs. They can both freeze and release avatars with this command, and regularly assist Madison Caleb in freeing Echos and Sparks especially who have been left trapped in their own statue of a body. However, this power is deeply valuable to some not-so-nice people, and Sarandiel is careful to keep it to themselves whenever possible, to avoid the many worst-case scenarios they spend every hour of every day dodging and hiding from while they learn, and eat, and grow (figuratively).
